This is the detailed help document of Add Friends feature. Hope it can help you understand how to use the feature. You can use the feature to add friends to your twitter accounts, there are five options to select to add friends.

Notice: The first step is to add one or multiple twitter accounts into the "Manage Accounts" dialog box, so that you can add friends to the added accounts. (If you have added your accounts into the "Manage Accounts" dialog box, you can skip this step.)

In addition to screen recording, Camtasia recorder allows you to draw on the screen and add effects while recording. Complete the following to record:

1. Open "Manage Accounts", click "Add" button and then follow steps below:







1. Input your username and password;
2. Click "OK" button to add account;
3. Or you can import a list of your twitter accounts by the "Import" function;
4. You can add more accounts in the same ways;

Then your accounts will be listed in the box as follows:








2. After adding accounts into the "Manage Accounts" dialog box, you can go back to add friends now. Close the box first. Find the main menu and go to "Add Friends" feature as follows:








When you click "Add Friends" menu, there will be a new window. Please input the following information to add twitter friends, then it will add friends for your Twitter accounts automatically.








3. Account

There are two ways you can choose to add friends:

1. Select one account to which you want to add friends.
2. Select "All Accounts: One by One, Rotate to next when finished adding friends for one account".







4. Friends

Click "Find" button to find the targeted friends to add, then a new dialog box appears as follows. There are five selections, you can select any of them to add friends.









You can find friends by these ways as follows:

1. Search Tweets

This option is all the same as "http://search .twitter.com/advanced" You can input any keywords in this page, then click "Search" button to find a list of friends whose updates containing these keywords as follow:















After clicking "Search" button, according to the query, it will find a list of friends as follows:









Then copy the information which is in the text box, paste it in the software as follow. It will search the same friends and add them to your accounts.








2. Search Username

This option is all the same as "http://twitter.com/invitations/find_on_twitter." You can search some friends by a username, first or last name, business or brand on this website as follows: :















Input a name in the text box, then it will find a list of friends whose usernames contain this word as follows:









Then copy the information which is in the text box, paste it in the software as follow. It will search the same friends and add them to your accounts.








3. Others Followers and Others Following

Use URL to find friends, you can follow others' friends by these two functions.

1. Other Followers

The format of URL: http://twitter.com/username/followers You can input any other account's username here to replace the second "twitter", then it will search friends from this account's follower list and add to your account:

For example, if you want to add friends of "1GreatBuy's" to your account, you just need to change the second "twitter" into "1GreatBuy" as follow, then it will search friends from the follower list of "1GreatBuy" and add to your account.















If you want to add friends from a certain page, you can do as follows.

For example, if you want to add the followers of "1GreatBuy" form the 30th page, you just need to change the number to 30. Then it will search form page 1, but at first you need to wait some time until it reaches page 30, it will start to add the followers from the 30th page.








2. Other Following

Do the same steps as the option "Other Followers", the only different is to add friends from the following list of other account.

4. Custom list

You can upload a username text file on your website, then input the URL in the text box, the program will add them for your accounts. Input URL, format: http://yoursite.com/MyfriendsList.txt Input a website which you want to add the friends list as follows: For example: http://www.livelybrowser.com/twitter/donors.txt








5. Threads

There are several selections. The more threads, the faster it runs. 10 is ten times faster than 1, the recommended setting is none.








6. Stop at

Select the number of friends which you want to add to your account. There are several selections.

For example: Select "Added random number between 90-110 friends", it will stop adding when it add 90 to 110 friends.








7. Interval

It will pause at a random time after adding a friend. There are several selections. For example, if you select Random time between 6-60 seconds, it will pause at a random time between 6 and 60 seconds after you add a friend. After the interval time, it will continue to add friends.








8. Proxy

Click "Config" button, then a new dialog box appears as follows:








1. Don't use proxy server, please click the first button;
2. To use following proxy server, you have to input the Host and Port information.

Notice: Tick the option at bottom, it won't add the friends who are removed before.









9. Examples




1. Let's take an account to add friends by searching tweets for example. And use the settings as follows:









Click "OK" and run this feature, run in background or not.









On the right side is the adding status in the console. You can see the exact adding status about how many friends it has added and the friends it has added, and so on:











It pauses at a random time between 6 and 60 seconds after adding a friend. You can click the red button to stop if you want to.

2. Let's see how it works when adding friends for all accounts with others followers option. For example, add 1GreatBuy's followers from the 4th page. And use the settings as follows:










You can see when it reaches the 4th page, it starts to add friends. And you can see it adds friends for all accounts one by one.
